Prof. dr. ir. E.C. van Berkum (CTS)

Eric van Berkum is Professor Operational and Strategic Traffic Management at the Centre for Transport Studies. He recieved his MSc applied mathematics at the University of Twente in 1985 on the subject of Solving the Capacitated Facility Location problem using Cross-decomposition. He recieved his Ph.D. at Delft University in 1993 on the impact of traffic information.

 

Dr. ir. M.S. Krol (WEM)

He recieved his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at the University of Utrecht. Thesis: ‘The Method of Practical Averaging in Partial Differential Equations.  Over the last years Maarten Krol has been involved in integrated projects studying water availability and vulnerability of ecosystems and society in Northeast Brazil.

 

Ing. G.H. Snellink (CME)

As technical employee Gerrit Snellink is greatly involved in many bachelor courses at Civil Engineering. He teaches several courses in mechanics, is part of the teaching team in 3rd year final designproject and with his knowledge of concrete and concrete testing he is involved in material related courses.
